The Wassers: Happy Halloween!!!

You know I've been stressing about how much catching up I'm going to have to do on the blog, but I've decided to start from today and move forward. That will take some stress out of it and when I get around to and IF I can remember what has happened since August to now, then I'll fill you in too!

Actually, the first thing that tops my list of what happened just a week or so ago was Lexi's ECHO at Cypress Heart. A couple of months ago, her doctor heard a heart murmur. She said it sounded functional, but Lexi needed to see a specialist to make sure. Long story short, her murmur is "innocent" and they are not concerned one bit! Thank the Lord!

Okay, I just broke my first rule - blog from this day forward. Oh well, that was important news to share. Next up, Halloween! Last year, we did nothing! We even kept our porch light off and just went about our day like any other. We felt that Lexi wouldn't really know what was going on and that it was too cold to get her outside. Little did I know, there are lots of events going on inside! So this year, we are enjoying Halloween! I gave her some options on her costume and she told me she wanted to be a bumblebee.

Last night, we went to the Y for their Halloween Fun Night and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though most of the games were for older kids, she just got a kick out of everything. She was super upset when I told her we had to go. So, I did what any good mom would do. Gave her a sucker for the car ride home! This was her first sucker, so I feel it was okay to splurge on Halloween.

Today, we are going to the mall for their Malloween. It starts at 3, but more than likely Lexi will sleep till 330. So we'll just be late and not spend too much time there. If we're up to it, we might even go trick or treating because it is nice out. Dave is getting over pneumonia and he works till 5, so it really depends on how he feels.
