UPDATE: Well, I found this in my "drafts" and I guess I never finished it or posted it. I really am slacking. I'm just going to post it even though it is not completely finished. But, I'm working on a new post for August, so stay tuned!
If I had planned ahead, I would have had a nice post on July 7th. Dave and I were married on 7/7/07 and it was such a great day! All of our closest friends were there. One of my bridesmaids, Jenn, even flew in from Las Vegas! Most importantly, my mom was there.
Two years have flown by fast. I'll never forget the very long engagement we had (a little over a year). Dave really liked the date, so we decided we'd wait and get married on the 7th of July. I remember finding out I was pregnant just a few months before the wedding. My first thought was "am I going to fit into my dress?". Thankfully, I did! It's amazing - Lexi just knew to hold back until after the big day because the day I got back from our honeymoon I could not fit into my regular clothes. I hadn't planned very well since this was my first pregnancy, so I had no maternity clothes come Monday for work. So I wore the only thing that worked - grey sweatpant gauchos! LOL! Just thinking of that day cracks me up. I looked like such a bum at work, but hey, it got me to work that day and I went shopping after work!
